I have Microsoft Office One day my icons for all Office programs are not showing and are replaced by the generic program icon. I reinstalled Office, no fix. Its like the program lost the path to where the icon is located. How can i fix this. You reinstalled the program; are you able to open the program from the Start menu? If yes, then the icons may have been corrupted. You can create the shortcut for the program at the desktop. Note: Delete the previous shortcut icons from the desktop deleting the icons does not delete the program.
